Humorous Humus
2 (15.5 ounce) cans chickpeas with liquid
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 1/2 tablesoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoopn ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons water or as needed to desired consistency
Pour chickpeas (with liquid) into a saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat 3-4 minutes until warmed through. Drain. Pulse chickpeas, garlic, lemon juice, cumin, salt, and pepper in a food processor. Gradually oil and puree until smooth. Add water if desired. Serve with all kinds of veggies, like carrot coins, celery sticks, bell pepper strips, broccoli florets, etc)
